Myelotracker®, Cy3 conjugate Kit

Myelotracker is a peptide-based fluorescent marker developed for the labeling and tracking of neutrophils in both human and animal samples. By specifically binding to lactoferrin, the major protein stored in neutrophil-specific granules, Myelotracker ensures accurate and selective identification of this essential immune cell population.

Validated in human, mouse, rabbit, and guinea pig neutrophils, Myelotracker is available conjugated with Cy3 or Cy5 fluorophores, making it fully compatible with fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry applications. Its dual functionality enables the visualization of intracellular granules in fixed samples as well as extracellular lactoferrin released during neutrophil activation, providing valuable insights into immune processes during infection and inflammation. Crucially, Myelotracker does not activate neutrophils, ensuring that labeling reflects true physiological conditions without introducing experimental bias.

Although primarily optimized for neutrophils, Myelotracker has also been shown to label basophils and eosinophils, creating additional opportunities to study granulocyte biology in contexts such as inflammatory diseases and allergic responses.
