Myelotracker®, Cy5 conjugate Kit

Myelotracker is a peptide-based fluorescent probe specifically designed for labeling and tracking neutrophils in both human and animal samples. By binding to lactoferrin, the predominant protein stored in neutrophil-specific granules, Myelotracker enables precise and selective detection of this key immune cell type.

Validated in neutrophils from human, mouse, rabbit, and guinea pig, Myelotracker is offered conjugated to Cy3 or Cy5 fluorophores, ensuring seamless integration into fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry workflows. Its dual functionality allows the imaging of intracellular granules in fixed samples as well as extracellular lactoferrin secreted during neutrophil activation, delivering unique insights into immune mechanisms involved in infection and inflammation. Importantly, Myelotracker does not trigger neutrophil activation, guaranteeing that labeling accurately represents physiological conditions without introducing artificial responses.

While optimized for neutrophils, Myelotracker has also demonstrated labeling of basophils and eosinophils, expanding its utility for studying granulocyte biology in inflammatory disorders and allergic reactions.
